About This Role

We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager who thinks in entities, not keywords. Someone who understands how language structures meaning and how AI systems interpret, rank, and cite content.

You will own the content pipeline for our ecommerce clients from strategy through production and measurement. This is not a traditional content marketing role. You will work at the intersection of computational linguistics, semantic SEO, and AI-assisted content production to build content architectures that perform across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.

The right person has already integrated AI tools deeply into their workflow, not as a novelty but as core infrastructure. You use LLMs for research acceleration, semantic analysis, content structuring, and quality assurance while maintaining the editorial judgment that machines cannot replicate.

This role reports directly to the founder and works closely with our SEO strategists and technical team.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of content marketing experience, preferably in ecommerce or B2B SaaS
  • Demonstrated fluency with AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or similar LLMs used as daily production tools, not occasional experiments
  • Strong understanding of semantic relationships, entity-based content modeling, and how search engines process natural language
  • Experience building and managing content production systems, not just writing individual articles
  • Familiarity with topical authority frameworks, content clustering, and internal linking architecture
  • Ability to read and interpret SEO data from tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, or Rank Math
  • Excellent editorial judgment: you know when AI output needs human intervention and when it does not
  • Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation workflows, or AI-assisted content QA pipelines
  • Understanding of structured data, schema markup, and how content gets surfaced in AI search results
  • Strong written English with attention to tone, clarity, and technical accuracy
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom scripts) for content workflows

What You Will Do

  • Own the end-to-end content strategy and production pipeline for ecommerce clients across multiple industries
  • Build semantic content architectures: topic clusters, entity maps, and content hierarchies that establish topical authority
  • Develop and refine AI-assisted content workflows that maintain quality at scale, including prompt templates, review checklists, and automated QA steps
  • Write, edit, and produce long-form guides, landing pages, product content frameworks, and thought leadership pieces
  • Collaborate with SEO strategists to align content with entity-based optimization, topical mapping, and technical SEO requirements
  • Analyze content performance using search console data, ranking tools, and AI citation tracking to identify what compounds and what needs revision
  • Manage content calendars, briefs, and production timelines across multiple client accounts
  • Stay current with how Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI systems evaluate, rank, and cite content, and translate those insights into production standards
  • Build reusable content engines: templatized frameworks that move every piece through intelligence extraction, semantic outline, brief, production, and fact-check stages
  • Train and mentor junior content producers on semantic writing principles, AI tool usage, and quality standards
  • Document and improve content SOPs, style guides, and AI prompt libraries
